In 2018, Semipower Technology invested in the construction of two major facilities: Xi'an Semipower New Energy Vehicle Power Control R&D Center and Xi'an Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Device Application Center.
The Xi'an Semipower New Energy Vehicle Power Control R&D Center was built to support Xi'an's hundred-billion-yuan automotive industrial cluster. Aiming to address the weak links in China's new energy vehicle supply chain, the center works closely with world-class teams. It functions as an innovation hub integrating R&D, application and sales, with business coverage of NEV powertrain systems, on-board and stationary charging systems, as well as battery protection and management systems.
The Xi'an Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Device Application Center specializes in developing application solutions for third-generation semiconductors, namely wide bandgap (WBG) semiconductors.
